Fishing

During the year the Fishing Section organises trips on charter fishing boats. There are also harbour mackerel trips in July, August & September in members’ and club boats. Keep an eye on the notice board for more details or check the club programme.

RYA Safety Boat Course- Cost £40
For those who have done PB2 and want to build confidence when on Safety Boat duty. Course includes preparation, boat handling, dinghy and water users rescue, towing, end-of-day procedures and communication.
Assumed knowledge:Power boat 2 plus some experience
Duration:2 days; 10am to 5pm each day
Minimum age: 16 years old.
What to bring: Life jacket & wet weather clothing; sandwich lunch (tea and coffee available)
